We will walk through your space together as we discuss ideas and define the full scope of your project. We will get to know each other on a more personal level so that we can understand your hopes and needs. Notes are taken throughout our time together and we will provide you with an Execution of Engagement Letter and your Design Fee Proposal within 48 hours. Once everything has been agreed upon and your design fee is paid, you receive a date for your project to begin!
This is our opportunity to walk through every space in your house, along with your contractor and any additional trades, to take professional measurements while establishing a plan to bring your project to life. The goal of this phase is to also identify any issues that may arise so that they can be resolved before causing delay.
Our expert designers dive deep into your project sourcing materials, samples and products to create a design plan that’s unique to each individual client, all while gathering quotes and working closely with the contractor to make sure everything is done to precision. This phase can take 4 - 8 weeks before a presentation is ready to be shared with the client.
Once your design concept has been created, you’ll be presented with our full proposal for your home that includes a mood board, samples, and a powerpoint presentation with visuals of all selections. You may also receive 3D photos and renderings of your project, with up to two revisions. You will also receive the initial budget for your project.
Once your design has been agreed upon and the retainer payment has been made as well as 100% payment for all products being ordered,our team will begin the process of ordering, tracking, receiving, and storing all products and materials that will be used in your home.
Now that your project is officially underway, we’ll regularly check in with you to keep you informed on its progress, and to look at your budget to ensure we’re on track.
When materials are secured, construction work can begin. We work closely with all contractors to ensure that the design is being implemented as approved.
Weekly site visits will be made to monitor your design’s progress and ensure the highest standards are always being met. It’s our job to ensure that we find mistakes before they happen, eliminating delays and risk for additional expenses. We maintain constant communication with the contractor as well as with our clients.
The details of your home begin to come to life as your space is furnished and styled to suit your unique lifestyle and personal taste. 2 weeks prior to project completion we will do a walk through together to identify any personal pieces you wish to include in your home and finalize the details of styling your space. We will establish a budget for styling that is typically 20-30% above your furnishing budget for your home.

A few years ago, we hired Kylee for a 2-hour consultation. She and her assistant, Kelly, arrived on time and spent 2.5 hours going through every room and providing us helpful information and design suggestions. Our home, nearly 20 years old was in definite need of some updating! Following her visit, a few days later, Kylee provided us with a detailed list of everything she discussed, including colors and vendors (from flooring, interior paint, cabinets, and much more). We were so pleased with the outcome. Everything came together beautifully.
